Above all that, this is a completely swiss made timepiece that you can personalize with engravings. They periodically offer a “timepiece of the day” with a reduced discount. Since you are buying direct, the prices are spectacular for a swiss made watch. How about the new “Aero” model in black? Yummy.

Milus TIRION TriRetrograde Seconds Skeleton

by Adam

milus skeleton, originally uploaded by benbarren.

New at the Basel watch fair this year, Milus brings out this very nice looking retrograde skeleton timepiece.

From their press release we learn:
The name of the TIRION is derived from the constellation of Orion, one of the most easily recognizable and brightest in the heavens, located in the equatorial region of the sky. The TIRION TriRetrograde Seconds Skeleton is available in a stainless steel version and an exquisite red gold version. The seconds retrograde are separated in three, twenty-second sectors each. An exclusive, special version of the timepiece also includes a Swiss quality mechanical movement with automatic winding.

Graham Swordfish Big 12-6

This watch crossed my path today when visiting WorldLux.com. This watch features an automatic movement with a fairly generous 42 hour power reserve. Weighing in at 42mm without the crown, this watch definitely makes a bold statement on the wrist without being ostentatious.

Louis Erard Heritage Chronograph

by Adam

Going back to my love of things vintage, today brings in the Louis Erard Heritage Chronograph. This watch pays homage to the older military watches popular during the late 1920’s and early 1930’s as far as it’s dial work. The crown, subdials and pushers are quite modern but don’t detract from the vintage styling. I think I would have liked to see them using wire lugs, but that’s just a small suggestion to this otherwise beautiful watch.

Invicta Skull Lupah Diver

by Adam

I’m a skull guy. Always have been. They just seem to be fascinating to me. The whole idea that we have this essential structure. It’s much like I enjoy seeing the steel girders or oak beams exposed in a living space. I like seeing the bits that make it possible for that structure to stand tall in the air and proclaim that this space is mine. In that vein, I absolutely fell in love with the Invicta Skull Lupah Diver when I first discovered it on accident during an eBay search. This watch features a Swiss Ronda quartz movement, black IP plating on both case and bracelet, and a blue tinted mineral crystal. This watch has become one of my absolute favorite watches that I own.
