Adee Kaye Oppose
I’ve been in love with military style watches, especially the style that was popular in the era of WWI. These watches were known as “trench watches” because they were primarily worn by the soldiers participating in the trenches that were made famous by that war. In fact, up until the war, wristwatches were primarily a women’s jewelry item, and men would never stoop to wearing one on the wrist, but rather, would slip theirs in the pocket. Because of the war, and the fact that a watch on the wrist was much easier to read, wristwatches on men was taboo no more. The Adee Kaye Oppose is a chronograph watch in the style of these early trench watches with a modern flair. It does stick to the standard of arabic numerals, onion type crown, and coin edge bezel. The particular model of the Oppose that I love is done in rose gold, brown leather bracelet type strap, and gold numerals.
